Online Databases and Encyclopedias
- Britannica EncyclopediaOnline Encyclopedia - a very good source to get background information about your topic. Search under 'Middle' .
- Infobase DatabaseAn online database with strong background information on your topics. Search 'World Geography & Culture'
- EBSCOA set of online databases with some strong sources for your topics. Select 'Student Research Center' and search for your topic. Narrow the results by looking to the column on the left that says 'Narrow Results By' and select 'Subject' and then select your person. If there are still too many results, in the same column, you can select the most relevant subject. Read the names of the articles and select those that seem useful.
